I’m Lluis — a musician, developer, and educator with a passion for tech for good.

About me

I'm a musician, developer and data scientist based in Valencia. My work spans building technology for social impact, alongside music composition and performance.

As a saxophonist and composer, I've performed and recorded internationally. I've been a Jerwood Jazz Fellow, a Henri Selmer Paris artist, a finalist of Young Jazz Musician of The Year, and recipient of awards including the Dave Holland Prize and Yamaha Jazz Scholarship.

Alongside music, I'm the CEO of Lluminate—a tech company focused on building tools for charities and progressive organisations. I work in data science and modelling, across AI and machine learning, and do development work in a number of languages and frameworks.

I'm a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (first class honours, with a course prize) and hold an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, with a dissertation in Auditory Psychology from the Department of Music and Science.

I've been a homelessness social worker, a youth worker, and in general am passionate about projects with a social impact that lessen inequality.
